There’s nothing nicer than receiving a parcel through the post!
I’m due another later this week from my dear friend Abby from Mutterings and BubsBears fame. She has finished my birthday tweed-bear (how exciting) and has promised to send it tomorrow ;-) So no…it can’t be that!
I ordered a book from Amazon the other day to compliment my M.A. course – but that arrived on Saturday all boxed….so it can’t be that either!
I have indeed seen some handmade soaps on Etsy that I particularly like – but as far as I remember…I haven’t ordered any!
A-haaaa! SO it must be my bargain buttons that I won on eBay last week! They include some rather gorgeous leather buttons too! Click on this pic above and take a closer look!
I wanted some more mother-of-pearl buttons for my cushion project – but managed to get a really good deal on the rest of these too from the same seller! …as you can see there’s abit of everything! I’ve never owned so many buttons before! They’ll come in handy for so many different projects I’m sure…

So nicely packaged and so wonderful! This is how people become eBay addicts.

Oh wow! Post is always exciting, but this seems extra exciting and unusual!
Have you been to Duttons for Buttons? There is one in York and one in Harrogate – magical!

Oh my god Catherine! I’ve just checked their website…I WANNA GO!!! Al, when I come and stay, can we go to York please?!
You got a good deal there from ebay, I’m watching a few button collections myself!

LOL yeah – although there appears to be one in Ilkley too – that is closer – although you can’t beat York for the day!
Last time we went for Stephen’s birthday. We went to Grays Court in York (next to the minster) for gorgeous tea and cake – it’s more beautiful than it looks on the website.

I’ll probably leave you in the button shop though…you’ll be in there for hours! x

But we also need to fit in a trip to the market AND the tweed mill!
You and I need to talk tweed, are you home if I phone you?
